Let start with who we are not. We are not mattel. We are not playschool or fisher price. We don't have a team of engineers designing things and a shop full of fabricators building them. We build everything out of a 15'x24' shack with crude tools and a ton of imagination. We, is me. Me with the help of my 11yr old daughter and 16yr old son.
I built my daughter her first ratrod in 2015, when she was only 5yrs old, using parts from her big sisters retired barbie jeep, some old kart wheels and a wheel barrow for a body. She won a trophy at her first show and has been hooked ever since. She's always pointing at random things suggesting how we could use them in our next build. Six years later, she's still very much involved and is even starting to do a little welding. My son, who just turned 16, is now starting to help build stuff too. It's incredible to be able to build cool stuff, for your kids, with my kids.
